A day in the great outdoors with lots to do for the whole family turned out to be a delightful experience while staying at this guesthouse. The location was ideal, surrounded by tranquil spots where you could enjoy some peace and quiet away from the madding crowds.

Small rooms

The room at Egans House was cozy and had a homely feel, making me instantly comfortable as I walked in. The soft lighting and plush bedding added to the relaxing ambiance, and I loved the view of the garden from my window. As a laid-back traveler, it was exactly what I needed.

I personally found the Wi-Fi signal a bit weak in certain areas, but it didn't bother me much since I preferred being unplugged during my stay.

We stayed at a budget hotel located in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location was perfect for catching the bus to the center city and exploring the sights. The bedspread was stained and there were hairs in the bathtub from a previous occupant. It seemed like the cleaning was not thorough and attention to detail was lacking.

The place was spotlessly clean, and the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. She gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area and gave clear directions. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all lovely and courteous. The location was perfect for us, as it was a short walk to the train station and only minutes to the city centre. We also appreciated being able to park right outside the front door. it was a great stay for us as backpackers.

Additionally, the hotel offered private parking, which was worth paying for, giving us peace of mind for the safety of our bikes.
